Sylvan Stage Revitalization Project
The Prosser Leadership class of 2018 is raising funds to revitalize the Sylvan Stage at Prosser’s City Park.
Specifically, replacing the current retaining wall, adding an accessible ramp and railing as well as adding electrical capacity and outlets.
Since its construction in the middle part of the 1900s, the stage has been central to many community celebrations, including class graduations, the 4th of July celebration, States Day, the Miss Prosser Pageant, library programs and more.
The 2018 improvements will lay a foundation for continued improvements by other community organizations that also recognize the value of the Sylvan Stage.
The class is seeking to raise $1,500 to complete the project.
If you would like to donate towards this worthy cause, there are 3 ways to do so:
- Come out to the 4th of July celebration at City Park and take a shot at drenching one of many community leaders in our “Dunk a Leader” dunk tank. Tickets are $1 per ball or 6 balls for $5.
- Direct donation via check made out to Prosser Economic Development and mailed to:
2140A Wine Country Road
Prosser, WA 99350
- Donate online
The class wishes to thank the City of Prosser and the Prosser High School Shop Class for their pledges to volunteer time and resources towards the improvements.
