The Prosser Economic Development Association is a non-profit organization made up of a cross section of representatives from the private sector and funding partners Port of Benton, Benton County and City of Prosser.  The association exists to recruit new business, retain existing businesses and promote the quality of living in the greater Prosser area.

                                        Mission Statement
 The Prosser Economic Development Association is organized for the purpose of promoting and advancing the economic welfare and development of the City of Prosser and the surrounding area designated as the Prosser School District area, thereby improving the quality of life and contributing to the overall economic development of the State of Washington.

     2009 President
 Max Benitz Jr., a Prosser    native, serves as Benton  County Commissioner, District No. 2. Commissioner Benitz, is a long time Prosser EDA Board Member and as Commissioner has worked tirelessly serving the members of his District.

                        What is Prosser EDA?
 A 501 (c) 3 organization working to recruit new businesses, work with existing businesses on retention and expansion, and strive to increase the economic vitality of our community. We are also a conduit for civic related assistance for other groups, i.e. Prosser Farmers Market, Historic Downtown Prosser Association, Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Center, Benton County Historical Museum, Signage Committee and Community Grant Writer Program.
